Research Questions


  • What is the life of an actor like?
  • How has your experience and skills in the theatre world helped you excel in other areas of your life, do you see any of the techniques and trainings applicable to daily life skills and helpful to other areas of interest?
  • I am interested in the artistic journey that actors have endured on their way to the stage and into a successful career, their hardships, their highlights, their advice, and their motivations.
  • How is a sense of balance maintained throughout the rigorous schedule of performance dates and rehearsal times?
  • How do you find the appropriate amount of time to have a basic life outside the theatre, let alone commit yourself to other passions that you have in your life?
  • In terms of education, I am interested in how you approached finding the right programs and schools to apply to if you did indeed attend any such programs.
  • Could you provide a description of what it is like to do a performance of a show for such a long period of time, such as with a 6-12 week run?
  • Due to the nature of the performances in our field, what is it like to have the majority of your evenings tied up with a show for such extended periods of time?
  • What can you say now that you wish you had known back when you first started?
